Charity:
Family Counseling Service is a non-profit organization with a mission of providing therapy, education and advocacy in Nueces and surrounding counties.  The proceeds of this event directly benefit the community through the programs of Family Counseling Service.

Our mission for this community event is to bring out children and their families.  We would like to take advantage of this opportunity to send a message to the children of the importance of family and healthy living.

The breakdown of the family unit leads to erosion in the general community.  Without strong family support, the basic needs of our children such as love, attention, communication, morality and general well-being are unmet.  Gangs, drugs and other destructive behaviors often fill these voids.  Bringing children together with their families in activities like our event helps to involve parents and other adults in their children's lives.

We realize we need your help.  Your support of our event will help our agency continue to offer services at reduced fees or no fees to those who have no ability to pay.  We would appreciate the privilege of having you participate in this very special day.
